From welfare to local regeneration
For over thirty years, I have been building businesses with a constant goal: transforming ideas, skills, and assets into tangible value for shareholders, individuals, and communities.
The origins
My entrepreneurial journey began in 1991. I was young, but already determined to achieve ambitious goals and build something that could last over time.
Perseverance, determination, and ambition, combined with respect for people and institutions, have been and continue to be the compass of my choices. These are values that have helped me face difficulties, transform obstacles into experience, and never lose sight of the responsibility that accompanies every entrepreneurial initiative.
The insurance world was my first field of experience, followed by the real estate one, which I have never truly abandoned. In both, I learned to observe needs, assess risks, and, above all, to transform an intuition into a concrete and sustainable project.
Stages of an entrepreneurial vision
The season of supplementary healthcare
In the early 2000s, I decided to focus a significant portion of my work on welfare systems and supplementary healthcare.
I wondered how it was possible to help families and workers access healthcare without replacing the National Health Service, but rather by complementing it with responsible, accessible, and sustainable tools.
Healthcare is a fundamental right, yet too many people risked being unable to afford the cost of care or having to resort to debt. I felt that the business world could offer a concrete answer to this need.
In 2001, I founded Health Italia, with the goal of creating a company capable of providing services to businesses, non-profit organizations, and those committed to building a new welfare system.
In 2007, I launched Mutua MBA, developing a mutualistic model based on sharing, solidarity, and the ability to bring healthcare closer to the individual.
In 2008, I founded Winsalute, a healthcare hub specifically designed to meet the needs of health funds, mutual aid funds, and mutual aid societies. At the time, the sector was still relatively unknown and required specialized skills, organization, and a new ability to interpret the needs of workers and their families.
In 2011, together with other managers of mutual aid funds and health funds, I contributed to the creation of ANSI – the National Association of Supplementary Healthcare and Welfare. I believed it was necessary to create a body capable of promoting the culture of supplementary healthcare, consolidating its authority, and fostering competent dialogue with institutions.
In 2017, as founder and principal shareholder, I had the honor of guiding Health Italia to its listing on the AIM Italia market of the Italian Stock Exchange.
It was the realization of a significant entrepreneurial project and, at the same time, the recognition of a journey forged together with managers, collaborators, professionals, partners, and shareholders who believed in the same vision.
That experience taught me that doing business is not just about creating efficient organizations. It means taking on a responsibility towards the people who work in the company, towards those who use its services, and towards the shareholders who entrust it with their capital and their trust.
From foundation to exit: a complete cycle of value creation
In 2021, I stepped down from the operational leadership of Health Italia to dedicate myself to a new phase of my career, while continuing to follow its evolution as a founder and key shareholder.
In December 2025, together with co-founder Oscar Pischeddu, I completed, through Sorgiva Holding and PFH, the sale to Lonvita S.p.A. of the stakes held by our respective vehicles in Health Italia.
Lonvita is the vehicle supported in the transaction by Clessidra Capital Credit through the Clessidra Private Debt fund.
The agreed price, equal to €300 per share, valued 100% of Health Italia’s share capital at approximately €56.9 million and a premium of more than 157% compared to the weighted average of the stock in the twelve months preceding the announcement of the transaction.
The subsequent public tender offer was made to the other shareholders at the same economic conditions. The transaction was completed in March 2026 with the acquisition of almost all of Health Italia’s capital and the delisting of the company from Euronext Growth Milan.
For me, this exit was more than just a stake sale. It completed an entire value creation cycle: identifying a need, building an innovative model, transforming it into a business, supporting its growth, leading it to a public listing, and finally, passing the baton to a new entrepreneurial and financial team.
This achievement belongs to everyone who has contributed to Health Italia’s history and demonstrates the ability to translate a vision into an industrial project, engage with the capital markets, and realize the value created for shareholders over time.
This track record—foundation, growth, public listing, and exit—represents a fundamental part of the experience I bring to my role as CEO of Rebirth.
Rebirth: a new entrepreneurial cycle
The decision to open a new chapter had already matured in 2021, when I took over the operational leadership of Rebirth S.p.A.
For me, Rebirth isn’t just the name of a company. It signifies a new era.
After dedicating many years to building systems to protect people’s health and well-being, I chose to put my experience to work in the regeneration of properties, the quality of living, and the development of new forms of hospitality.
Rebirth operates in the enhancement, development, and management of commercial, residential, and tourism properties, integrating real estate, construction, and management expertise.
Our ambition is not simply to manage assets or carry out real estate projects. We want to transform assets into places capable of generating economic results, quality experiences, and new opportunities for the communities in which we operate.
On January 31, 2025, Rebirth was listed on Euronext Growth Paris, with an initial market capitalization of approximately €38 million.
The listing represented a significant milestone, but above all, it marked the beginning of a new responsibility towards shareholders, investors, employees, and partners.
Entering a European market meant increasing the project’s international visibility, strengthening its ability to engage with investors, and creating the conditions to support a broader growth path.
The experience I gained with Health Italia is now an essential part of my contribution to leading Rebirth: strategic vision, execution capabilities, knowledge of financial markets, attention to governance, and a focus on long-term value creation.
Marta Lake: a village that becomes a destination
Among the projects that best exemplify Rebirth’s new vision is Marta Lake – Albergo Diffuso, on the shores of Lake Bolsena, in the heart of Tuscia.
The Albergo Diffuso interprets hospitality differently than a traditional accommodation facility. It does not create a place separate from the surrounding area, but rather invites guests to experience the village, the lake, its rhythms, local activities, and the community that inhabits it.
The first phase of the project is already operational and includes four apartments dedicated to hospitality, a reception area overlooking the lake, and a fully equipped gym available to guests.
These are the first elements of a project destined to grow, in which hospitality, wellness, culture, catering, and the promotion of local products can interact.
Marta Lake is not intended to be just a hospitality project. The goal is to contribute to the construction of a destination, generating new visitors, economic opportunities, and lasting relationships with the local area.
I believe that the hospitality of the future must be able to offer quality without losing authenticity. It must respect the identity of the places, engage the communities, and allow visitors to feel part of an experience, not simply a customer of a facility.
Marta perfectly expresses what I want to build through Rebirth: not just properties, but places; not just services, but experiences; not just economic results, but opportunities that can endure in the local area and generate value over time.
Rebirth Foundation: Restoring Value to Communities
This same vision led to the creation of the Rebirth Foundation, which I have the honor of chairing.
The Foundation represents the cultural and social dimension of this new journey. It was created to support training initiatives, nurture talent, foster inclusion, and develop collaborations with local organizations, institutions, and organizations.
Its goal is to strengthen the connection between business and community, so that part of the value generated by economic activities can return to the local communities in the form of knowledge, culture, participation, and new opportunities.
I believe that a business should be evaluated not only for the results it produces, but also for the quality of the relationships it builds and the impact it generates around itself.
After many years dedicated to welfare, I consider the presidency of the Rebirth Foundation a natural continuation of my journey.
The tools and sectors in which I operate may change, but the purpose remains the same: to contribute to the construction of systems capable of concretely improving people’s lives and supporting the growth of communities.
A closed chapter
My journey also went through a complex phase, which I approached with a sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and full trust in the institutions.
In March 2025, the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Verona, at the request of the Public Prosecutor himself, ordered the dismissal of the proceedings involving me, deeming the alleged crime unfounded.
Today, I consider that chapter closed. From that experience, I gained an even stronger conviction: credibility is built over time through consistent behavior, transparency, and concrete results.
A daily commitment to putting into practice the values one believes in
Thousands, millions of individuals work, produce and save despite everything we can invent to harass, hinder and discourage them. It is their natural vocation that drives them; not merely the thirst for profit.
The pleasure, the pride of seeing one's own company prosper, gain credit and inspire the confidence of an ever-wider clientele, of expanding its facilities, are a spring of progress just as powerful as profit.
Were it not so, there would be no explaining why there are entrepreneurs who lavish all their energies on their company and invest all their capital in it, only to draw profits often far more modest than those they could surely and comfortably obtain from other ventures.

From January 2020 to October 2021 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Mutua Nazionale, a mutual aid company focused on the dissemination of health, social assistance and services plans within Public Administration Bodies and Defense and Police Bodies.

For the academic year 2019 - 2020 he took on the role of Professor of Marketing at the International Telematic University Uninettuno, Faculty of Economics, Degree Course in Economics and Business Management.

Since May 2019, he has held other roles for short periods, including Board of Directors of Acqua Pradis SpA, a company active in the production and marketing of mineral waters, and of Be Health Espana SA, a company operating in the food supplements and cosmetics sector.

Since December 2018, he has held the position of Director of Health Biosciences S.p.A., a financial holding company specializing in investments in companies and projects in the fields of health and wellness, real estate, services and start-ups.

In the mutualistic field, he has held the role of CEO since December 2007 and President from December 2010 to October 2016 of Mutua MBA, the largest Italian mutual health aid company by number of members.

In 1992, as CEO of RO.MA Assistance S.p.A., a company active in the insurance brokerage sector, he oversaw the development of innovative computerization systems and growth in the insurance sector through the role of the multi-mandate agent.
